Privacy Policy

What data this website collects, what it does not, and your choices.

Last updated: 7 July 2026

This policy covers the agentling website (the documentation, blog, and changelog). It does not cover the agentling Python package, which runs entirely on your own machines and sends nothing to us.

The short version

This site has no accounts, no sign-up, and no forms that collect personal data. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and we keep measurement to a minimum.

What we collect

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. These logs exist for security and reliability, and they age out automatically.

Anonymous usage analytics. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read and which are ignored. This measurement does not build profiles of individual visitors and does not follow you across other websites.

Theme preference. Your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.

What we do not collect

  • No names, emails, or account credentials, because there is nothing to sign up for.
  • No payment information, because nothing here is for sale.
  • No cross-site tracking, advertising identifiers, or data brokering of any kind.

Third parties

The site is served by a hosting provider, which processes the technical data necessary to serve pages under its own privacy terms. Links to external services such as GitHub or PyPI take you to sites governed by their own policies.

The agentling package

The open source framework itself makes no network calls except the ones your own code configures, such as requests to the model provider you choose. It contains no telemetry, no analytics, and no phone-home behavior. Your prompts, tools, and memory stay wherever you run them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data, including access and erasure. Given how little this site collects, the practical answer to most requests is that we hold nothing about you. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will investigate.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the change will be noted here with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
