Terms of Use
The terms that apply to this website and to the agentling open source software.
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms apply to the agentling website (the documentation, blog, and changelog). They are short because the site is simple: everything here is free to read, and the software it documents is free to use under an open source license.
The software
agentling is open source software released under the MIT License. Your use of the software is governed by that license, not by these terms. In plain language, the MIT License lets you use, copy, modify, and distribute the software for any purpose, provided you preserve the copyright notice, and it provides the software "as is" without warranty of any kind.
The content
Documentation, blog posts, and other written content on this site are provided for general information. You may quote and link to them freely with attribution. Code samples shown in the documentation are yours to use without attribution, in any project, under the same spirit as the MIT License.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided "as is". We work to keep the documentation accurate and current, but we make no guarantees that any page is free of errors, that examples fit your situation, or that the site will be available at any given time. Nothing on this site is professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. Your use of the agentling software is governed by the warranty disclaimer in the MIT License.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities outside responsible disclosure, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful content. Security reports are welcome through the process described in SECURITY.md.
Third-party links
The site links to external services such as GitHub, PyPI, and package registries. Those services have their own terms, and following a link means their terms apply, not ours.
Changes
These terms may change as the project evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
